If weatherization measures are installed by a pre-approved contractor in your Massachusetts residence, you will be eligible for a rebate of 75% of the cost (up to $2,000). With the help of these rebate programs, these valuable home improvements become much more affordable for you.

Weatherization measures include insulation (attic, wall, basement, crawl space, rim joist, or pipe), ductwork leakage testing and sealing, air infiltration testing and sealing, and infrared inspection. Many times, weatherization is the most cost-effective way to improve efficiency and comfort. You could save up to 25% on your heating and cooling costs.

 

Program is restricted to residential gas heating accounts in existing structures in Massachusetts. New construction, additions, and commercial gas heating accounts are not eligible. To be eligible for Gas Residential Weatherization Program you must be an active National Grid / NSTAR residential gas heating customer (Rate R-3) in Massachusetts.
